Daily Tournament Update from Friday, Oct 8

Another superb day of Hand & Foot Canasta and a great way to start our second week of the first ever online Daily Duplicate Hand & Foot Tournament, exclusive to HFFE members!

In our SOLO tournament ashley_pontiff made an encore performance of her Oct 2 showing and again took the top spot on the leaderboard, followed by michelle21, angie62, KathyMom, and georgetown74.

In our TEAM tournament, early in the day, georgetown74 made a new TEAM score record by turning in 21,545 points. But this moment of glory was fleeting as michelle21 swooped in later in the day, taking no mercy on the computer players, and turned in a NEW RECORD for the highest score in a TEAM tournament game with 22,275. Great playing michelle21! Rounding out spots 3, 4, and 5 were ashley_pontiff, terri227, and KathyMom.

In the October Monthly standings, we have an ultra-competitive race, with just one point separating each of our top 5: ashley_pontiff has the lead with 34 points, followed by KathyMom (33), georgetown74 (32), michelle21 (31), and nora158 (30). In the TEAM standings georgetown74 and KathyMom continue to alternate in the top 2 spots with georgetown74 currently in the lead.

No matter how you did for the Friday tournament the daily scores reset and we get to do it all over again today.
